Dr. Rice is the author of the new book Democracy: Stories from the Long Road to Freedom, which offers a sweeping look at the birth, life, and struggle of global democracy.

Condoleezza Rice is currently the Denning Professor in Global Business and the Economy at the Stanford Graduate School of Business; the Thomas and Barbara Stephenson Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution; and a professor of Political Science at Stanford University. She is also a founding partner of RiceHadleyGates, LLC.

From 2005 to 2009, Dr. Rice served as the 66th Secretary of State of the United States, the second woman and first African American woman to hold the post. Dr. Rice also served as President George W. Bush’s Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs (National Security Advisor) from 2001 to 2005, the first woman to hold the position. Read more.

Robert Holmes Tuttle, a former Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Pacific Council on International Policy, served as U.S. Ambassador to the Court of St. James’s from July 2005 to February 2009. A businessman with extensive experience in the private sector, Ambassador Tuttle is co-Managing Partner of Tuttle-Click Automotive Group, one of the nation's largest retail automotive companies.
