Alex is a multilingual Political Economist and Investment Strategist with 5+ years of research and consulting experience across various emerging markets, including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Ghana and Kenya.

He led on-the-ground economic & political risk consulting projects, including investment advisory and operations consulting, at global firms such as the United Nations, Oxford Business Group and Global Risk Insights, as well as real estate investment strategy development for the world's tallest tower at Jeddah Economic City.

Previous positions include Head of Research & Strategy at Prince Alwaleed bin Talal's Jeddah Economic Company, home to the world's tallest Jeddah Tower; Editorial Project Manager for global publisher, research and consultancy Oxford Business Group working in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Ghana and Kenya, Political Risk Analyst for Global Risk Insights and Economic Advisor for the Cyprus Mission to the United Nations during the island nation's rotating presidency of the European Union.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University, specializing in International Management and International Relations.
