Chris is an executive at a major aerospace and defense firm in support of US military and intelligence community missions.
Prior to his career in the private sector, Chris was a Special Forces officer in the United States Army. His last assignment was serving as the Special Operations lead architect and exercise planner at the Special Operations Training Detachment, charged with preparing units for global engagements and interagency partnerships. His previous assignments included both command and staff positions with service in operational deployments in Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Early in his military career he served as an Armor Officer in command, operations and logistics assignments. He continues to serve in the US Army Reserve. In total his military service spanned over 21 years.
Chris also worked extensively in the governmental interagency space to include the US State Department and US Intelligence Community. This included completing an interagency Political-Military Affairs fellowship at the United States Department of State Foreign Service Institute. The fellowship was designed to prepare Department of State officers to work effectively with Department of Defense colleagues and surveyed the full scope of political-military issues related to broader national security policy.
Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Michigan, an MPA from Harvard University an MBA from the University of Southern California and MS from the University of Texas.
Chris resides in Colorado.
