Ed is a native San Diegan, UCLA, LEAD San Diego and FBI Citizens Academy graduate, and resides in the WindanSea area of La Jolla. Ed has an intimate knowledge of San Diego's old neighborhoods, its coastline and the 'Platinum Triangle' of La Jolla, Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe. Ed has been named a San Diego Magazine FIVE STAR agent for many years and is the 1997 recipient of the La Jolla Real Estate Brokers' Association's McNaught-Davis / Knox Award, its highest professional honor.

Ed has been a Member of the Top Producers Group of La Jolla Realtors since 1995 and a licensed REALTOR since 1989.  Ed has successfully represented numerous luxury ocean front and estate properties over the years. His strong negotiating skills, incredible product knowledge, great community connections, and extraordinary service have served his clients well. Ed has a great Texas, Arizona and Sports and Entertainment Industry client list. In 2009, he closed a combined record sale for the La Jolla 92037 zip code at 1900 Spindrift Drive $18,150,000 and 1912 Spindrift Drive $8,000,000 in La Jolla Shores for a total of $26,150,000. In 2013, he closed the fourth highest single parcel sale in La Jolla Farms above Black's Beach at 9736 La Jolla Farms Road for $18,500,000.  Ed has been a member of Leonard Simpson's TOP TEN Best Dressed List (2016) and was an extra in Paramount Pictures "Top Gun:  Maverick".
