Appointed by the President to serve as Senior Policy Advisor to the United States Secretary of Labor, Dr. Dundee served in many different government capacities. During his tenure at Labor, he collaborated on policy issues with senior leadership at the White House, Treasury, Solicitor General, Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), Department of Justice, Department of Commerce, Human Health Services, Internal Revenue Service, Federal Thrift & Saving Plan, Securities Exchange Commission, National Economic Council (NEC), Government Accountability Office and served as a United States’ delegate to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Asia, Europe, and Eastern Europe. Prior to serving in the Administration, he was the Western Division Leader for Willis Towers Watson’s Benefits Advisory & Compliance Group, the National Practice Leader for Buck Consultants/Conduent Tax & ERISA Compliance Services, and a Senior Tax Attorney for KPMG. Previously appointed by U.S. Secretaries of the Treasury John W. Snow and Paul H. O’Neill to serve as the west chairmen of the U.S. Department of Treasury's Savings Bond Committee, a Governor appointed member to the California Law Revision Commission and the California Advisory Council on Economic Development. He also served on the board of directors/trustees to Pepperdine University, the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum, The La Brea Tar Pits, the George C. Page Museum, the William S. Hart Museum, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center, The Daughters of Charity Foundation, Young Presidents Organization (YPO), and several other community service organizations. Additionally, he has authored several nationally acclaimed books on data privacy, cybersecurity, retirement and health benefits and has been cited by the California Supreme Court as the national expert on the division of benefits at divorce.
