Arthur N. Greenberg is a founding partner of the Los Angeles law firm of Greenberg Glusker, which celebrated its 56th anniversary in april 2015. He is included in the book The Best Lawyers in America, and is referred to as a “Legend” in the spring 2009 issue of Southern California Super Lawyers. He is a graduate of the first class of UCLA School of Law and was chosen as its Alumnus of the Yar. He received the Justice and Jurisprudence Award of the Anti Defamation League and the Learned Hand Award of the American Jewish Committee for promoting the cause of human rights, where he served as president of its Los Angeles Chapter and a national Vice President. He served as president of the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles Country and Leo Baech Temple. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and currently serves on the Boards of the Geffen Theatre and the UCLA Medical Center. He earlier served on the Boards of the RAND Institute of Civil Justice, the Music Center of Los Angeles County, the Hebrew Union College, the UCLA Foundation and the Los Angeles Jewish Federation, and was awarded its Maimonides Torch of Justice Award. He is a benefactor of the Music Center of Los Angeles Country and a Founder of the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art, the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art and the Skirball Cultural Center. He is a member of the National Council of both the Aspen Music Festival and the Aspen Art Museum. Long active in the Aspen Institute, he served as moderator of its seminars. He established Daniel’s Place, a center in Santa Monica for young adults experiencing their first episodes of mental illness and for their families.
