Pamela is a writer, researcher, and editor. She provides editorial services, including case studies, primarily for elite academic institutions. Earlier in her career, Pamela was the Shanghai Bureau Chief for the Far Eastern Economic Review and Managing Editor of Business China. She is the author of New Shanghai: The Rocky Rebirth of Shanghai's Legendary City (John Wiley & Sons). She has an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.A. from Smith College. Public Health and Social Innovation have been subjects of particular professional focus in recent years, but she remains deeply interested in American Foreign Policy, International Relations, and China. Pamela is married to Brewer Stone and has two sons.
