Ron Balchandani founded AV Equity Partners in 2020, and his guidance and strong principles drive the strategic development and direction of both the firm and its portfolio.

Early in his career, Mr. Balchandani was an active investor in smaller businesses. He developed his principles of integrity, grit, and determination fostering great relationships with partners and lenders. Mr. Balchandani's ability to continually execute larger transactions grew exponentially and made AV Equity one of the premier investment firms in the United States.

When it comes to his business, Mr. Balchandani applies philosophies of thorough due diligence, sound acquisitions, effective management, and adding value through creative operational improvement rather than financial engineering.

Prior to AV Equity, Mr. Balchandani was the Director of Cornerstone Capital Holdings. Where his primary focus involved deal origination, qualification, and portfolio management. Prior to Cornerstone Capital, he led the business development team with a Los Angeles-based investments firm that focused on lower middle-market corporate carve-outs and special situations. Prior to that, he turned around a $1.2B portfolio for a family office in Los Angeles. Prior to the family office, he worked alongside the Director of Trading Operations at Signature Estate & Investment Advisors. Prior to SEIA, he helped finance over $1.8B in commercial real estate at Walker & Dunlop. Mr. Balchandani started his investment career by acquiring a distressed commercial printing business at 19 years old and turned it into a profitable enterprise just one year later.
