Kimberly Bomberger brings a unique blend of national security, foreign policy, and leadership development expertise. She is currently an advisor for Orbis Operations, where she engages with international clients on a variety of issues. Kimberly also has served as a leadership coach, working with public and private sector leaders to deepen self-awareness, understand their impact on others, and strengthen performance. Prior to these roles, Kimberly spent over 20 years in the federal government. For most of her career, Kimberly was a CIA officer where she prepared assessments of world leaders to help senior policymakers in the White House, Congress, and the US military understand and deal with their foreign counterparts. She has led high-profile analytic teams and programs and worked with colleagues at the FBI to strengthen analytic efforts and deepen cooperation following the September 11 attacks. Kimberly completed her government service as a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of State in the Middle East.
Kimberly received a BA in International Studies from Austin College in 1995 and an MA in History from George Mason University in 2002. She earned a Leadership Coaching Certificate from Georgetown University in 2010. Kimberly serves as a mentor for Girl Security. Originally from north Texas, she and her husband now live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Kimberly is the proud stepmom of two sons.
