Matt Miller is a partner and political economist at Capital Group, where he analyzes policy trends that affect investment decisions for the American Funds.  Matt was previously a columnist for The Washington Post; the host of public radio’s “Left, Right & Center;” a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress; and a McKinsey consultant.  He served as senior advisor in the Clinton White House budget office and as a White House Fellow.  He’s the author of The Two Percent Solution: Fixing America's Problems In Ways Liberals And Conservatives Can Love (2003), and The Tyranny of Dead Ideas (2009).
