Dan Flynn is a Project Leader at Open Capital with significant experience in policy research and development. He has experience in humanitarian work, including an analysis of World Vision’s Fragile Contexts Approach in urban settings (published June 2022), refugee policy research for the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and International Rescue Committee, development of a fragility-to-resilience design for a financial sector strengthening organization, and analysis of a top-tier global advisory group’s work in fragile contexts.

Previously, Dan worked with the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics, contributing to the creation of their governance, fragility, and conflict portfolio. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs with Certificates in Global Processes and Institutions and Global Urbanization and Regional Development.
