George Nolfi directed, wrote, and produced The Adjustment Bureau, starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt and The Banker, starring Anthony Mackie and Samuel L. Jackson.  He directed and produced the forthcoming Elevation, starring Anthony Mackie and Morena Baccarin.

His screenplay credits include The Bourne Ultimatum, Ocean’s Twelve, and The Sentinel.   He also created the NBC spy show, Allegiance, and served as executive producer, showrunner and principal director.

Nolfi studied public and international affairs, philosophy, and political science at Princeton, Oxford, and UCLA.   He is a longtime member of the Pacific Council on International Policy and served on the Secretary of the Navy’s Advisory Board and the Navy Research Advisory Committee during both the Obama and Trump administrations.

He is the co-founder and chief creative officer of Civil, a media company focused on politics and culture in an era where 46% of Americans identify as “independent” as opposed to Democrat or Republican (Gallup 2022), and 84% of Americans believe the “mainstream media” is a “threat to democracy” (New York Times/Siena 2022).
