Bryce Barros is a Policy Advisor at the Western Pacific Fellowship Project. He previously led the foreign policy and defense portfolio as a Legislative Assistant for U.S. Senator Edward J. Markey. His past roles include supporting the Defense Innovation Unit's policy planning, congressional affairs, and international engagement teams as a contractor, analyzing China's involvement in Transatlantic relations at the German Marshall Funds of the United States, and researching strategic trade controls and sanctions at Kharon. Bryce is a Council on Foreign Relations Stephen M. Kellen Term Member, National Committee on U.S.-China Relations member, and Truman National Security Project Fellow, among other organizations. He holds degrees from Norwich University and Texas A&M University, is an honorary graduate of the Republic of China (Taiwan) Military Academy, and speaks Mandarin, Japanese, and Portuguese.
