With more than 30 years of experience in the executive recruiting profession, including 24 years with Korn/Ferry International in the U.S. and Japan as a partner/shareholder, Andy Knox has executed senior-level client work in the U.S. and internationally. He has worked extensively across industry sectors and functional disciplines. Andy founded Chelsea Partners in January 2015 to provide a diverse client base with a range of human capital consulting services across industry sectors, functions and geographies, including executive and board recruiting; management assessment; executive coaching; corporate governance consulting; succession planning; and human capital advisory consulting.
Previously, Andy spent two years with RSR Partners in Los Angeles as a Managing Director following three years with Higdon Partners LLC, where he opened the Los Angeles Office for that boutique executive recruiting firm. Andy joined Korn/Ferry International in 1985. In addition to his client responsibilities with the Firm, Andy held a number of management and leadership roles. Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Andy spent four years in the Los Angeles office of Russell Reynolds Associates, Inc., a leading global executive recruiting firm. He entered the executive recruiting profession from Bank of America in Los Angeles. Andy played a leading role in the planning and management of the aquatic competitions for both the 1984 (Los Angeles) and 1988 (Seoul) Olympic Games. He serves on the Board of the Southern California Committee for the Olympic Games.
Andy is a member of the Executive Committee and Board of the Asia Society/Southern California, the Board of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Sports Council, and the 2015 Special Olympics World Games. He is Co-Chair of the Host Committee for the Marathon Olympic Trials to be held in Los Angeles in 2016. Andy earned an MBA from USC and a bachelor’s degree in history from UCLA.
