A webinar about the global pandemic and its impact on the ongoing refugee crisis.

This dialogue will take on a public health lens and the impact on resettlement, asylum systems, and public health challenges, as well as the global policies that impact the crisis in a way that exacerbates it. Within that frame, Maryam Zar will share her personal experience in the most notorious refugee camp in Europe with Todd Snyder expanding on his time working on the ground in Ethiopia. 

What is the impact of COVID-19 on refugee populations? What are the immedate public health challenges this poses? What does the impact of a global pandemic mean in the longer term for refugee populations?
