A conversation with Israel's Ambassador to the United States Ron Dermer on U.S.-Israeli relations.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the UN General Assembly in September 2017 that the alliance between Israel and the United States under the Trump administration "has never been stronger or deeper." The two governments continue to agree on many core issues, and both face many challenges in the region as well.

Where do U.S.-Israeli relations stand under the current administration? How will that relationship be impacted by developments on the Iran nuclear deal, the conflict in Syria, and Palestine joining Interpol, among other important issues?
