I spent twenty-one years in the military Reserve and Guard. My first ten years were spent in the US Coast Guard where I made six post-9/11 deployments overseas. I was also among the first group of people to stand up the Intelligence Specialist rating within the Coast Guard. This was followed by eleven years in the Air National Guard where I was trained to work as an all-source analyst for Strategic Command at the Joint Space Operations Center at Vandenberg AFB.

Next, my education consisted of an Undergrad degree from Arizona State University where I majored in Mass Communications. This was followed by a Master's degree in Global Security with a Cyber Security Concentration. It's essentially a policy and strategy type of degree.

Lastly, as a civilian, I worked as a deputy sheriff for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for thirty-five years. As a deputy sheriff, I worked at a number of assignments over many years. However, I am most proud of my work as an intelligence analyst with the military.

On a side note, I love to hike, camp, travel, and take in the cultural sites a country has to offer.
