Reuben Ayala is a Director of Development for the RAND Corporation, focusing on fundraising for the Pardee RAND Graduate School.  The RAND Corporation is a research organization that develops solutions to public policy challenges to help make communities throughout the world safer and more secure, healthier and more prosperous.

Reuben believes that finding meaning in chaotic and unsettling times requires one to put their efforts into any measures that can help, even in the smallest way.  That’s why he elects to work at organizations whose mission reflect his values and where his work can amplify their impact.

Reuben began his career in the private sector, first at State Farm Insurance, where he served in roles ranging from analytics, marketing, training, and then frontline recruiting.  He worked as a consultant at Toyota Motor Sales (now Toyota Motors North America) helping manage a multi-touch marketing program for their connected vehicle technologies services.  He then built upon his previous experiences at UCLA, in a relationship management role as a Regional Director of Development where he built up a portfolio of major giving donors.

Reuben holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California Los Angeles with a concentration in International Relations.
