Michael Kleinman is a director on the Investments team at Humanity United. Michael spent a number of years overseas working for international NGOs—first with CARE in Afghanistan, Sudan, and in a regional position covering east and central Africa, and then with International Relief and Development in Iraq. Prior to going overseas, he worked for the Harvard Program on Humanitarian Policy and Conflict Research, leading a project on the application of international humanitarian law to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
After returning to the United States, Michael worked as a consultant for humanitarian organizations and research institutions, focusing primarily on conflict and post-conflict issues. He is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School.
