Matt devotes significant time to giving back to the community through volunteering his time with Together We Rise, a Southern California-based non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of children in foster care, a number of relief organizations – having spent time volunteering in Texas, Mexico, and Uganda, as well as through his local church. He holds undergraduate degrees in International Relations and History from UC San Diego, a JD from Boston University, an LLM in Tax from Loyola Law School, and has studied in Berlin and Jerusalem.
