Mr.
Name:
Marcos Rodriguez Maciel
Associate, SKDKnickerbocker
West Hollywood, CA
United States

I was born in Mexico and immigrated with my family to California’s Central Valley. I graduated from Harvard University with a bachelor’s degree in Government. While attending college, I served as the Treasurer and as a Board member for the Harvard International Relations Council, a student-run non-profit dedicated to educating and fostering awareness of international relations and issues. As part of this organization, I developed a passion for international affairs and it became a focus in my academic studies.

After graduation, I worked on the launch of a congressional campaign before joining SKDKnickerbocker in November of 2015. I am currently an Associate at the Los Angeles office of SKDKnickerbocker, a political consulting and public affairs firm specializing in strategic communications. Over the past 15 months, I've had the opportunity to work with a wide range of political campaigns, non-profit, and corporate clients. In my capacity as an associate, I've drafted speeches, translated political communications to Spanish, and researched issues to guide strategic messaging, among other work.

Outside of work, I currently serve as Board Member for the Los Angeles County Young Democrats, a group decided to supporting the next generation of Democratic leaders. In this role, I've been a part of recruiting new members, organizing events for our members, and participating in Get Out the Vote campaigns for local candidates.
