Kathryn Shirley is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant who practiced with KPMG and several Fortune 500 companies before running her own boutique, business management company, World Management Solutions, Inc. She also serves on the Board of several non-profit organizations where she helps develop policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and financial stability.
Currently, Kathryn serves on the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association, Los Angeles Division and the University of Southern California Athletics Board of Counselors. She is also Chair Emeritus of the USC Black Alumni Association Black Alumni Council and Chair, Recruitment and Retention. Furthermore, she is USC Alumni Association Board of Governors Emeriti and sits on the Athlete Career Transition Team in USC Athletics.
Kathryn most enjoys increasing Black student enrollment at USC serving as an Admission Ambassador at college fairs and teaching college readiness workshops. She also enjoys teaching USC student-athletes to successfully network, create winning resumes and LinkedIn profiles.
Kathryn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from San Diego State University and a Master’s degree in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California.
