
John Stamper is a retired litigation partner of O’Melveny & Myers. He specialized in the resolution of complex commercial disputes with particular emphasis on arbitration and international dispute resolution. He served as chair of the firm’s international dispute resolution group, a member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Center for International Commercial Arbitration and as a member of the Executive Committee of the International Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. John is a Life Member of the American Law Institute and has served as an advisor on ALI international law projects.
John is a member of the Pacific Council’s GTMO Task Force. He has traveled twice to Guantanamo Bay to observe and report upon the proceedings.
