
Ina Thigith (she/her) is an Associate Director of Engagement for the Pacific Council on International Policy. In this role, Ina supports written content and program development for the organization, serving as a vital bridge between our membership and events departments. Additionally, Ina manages sustaining member giving and administration of the Junior Fellows Program.
Outside of the Pacific Council, Ina is an Issue Advocate for the Redefining National Security working group, organized by Women of Color Advancing Peace, Security, and Conflict Transformation (WCAPS). She is a member of the Women’s Foreign Policy Group (WFPG) and the Harvard Club of Boston. Ina is a former research fellow for Empowering Pacific Islander Communities (EPIC) via AAPI Data's DNA Fellowship program (2024).
Ina graduated with a Master’s in Law & Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, specializing in Human Security, International Business, and Gender & Intersectional Analysis. Her research focused on social urbanism, architecture, and civic engagement as tools for community wellness and restoration, specifically in the Latin American context.
Before pursuing her Master’s, Ina received her B.A. in Political Science, with a concentration in International Relations, from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During her studies, she focused on the relationship between the U.S. and East Asia and spent time living in Hong Kong, where she studied business at the University of Hong Kong, and in Tokyo, where she worked as an English teacher.
Ina enjoys spending time with her dog Goomba, supporting small businesses, practicing nail art, and collecting stationary.
