Emmanuel Alcantar is a climate and pro-housing advocate from South Los Angeles. He currently works as a Communications Manager for Climate Cabinet Action, a national climate organization that supports down-ballot candidates running for office. In 2023, Climate Cabinet won about 75% of its top priority races, ranging from municipal, county, and state offices.

Emmanuel was appointed to represent the Pacific Southwest on the EPA's inaugural National Environmental Youth Advisory Council—the first youth-led federal advisory council in U.S. history. Additionally, he serves as a Commissioner for LA County's Commission on Youth and Climate. He dedicates further time and expertise as the Sustainability Director for Westside Young Democrats.
