César Corona specializes in public diplomacy and World Expos.

He holds a BA in International Relations from the National University of Mexico (UNAM), an MA in Public Diplomacy from the University of Southern California, and has taken political science courses at Växjö University and McGill University. He has been a Fulbright-García Robles, CONACYT, and UNAM scholar.

His professional experience includes positions as an international communication specialist in diplomatic entities such as the United States Embassy in Mexico and the International Exhibitions Bureau, as a university professor at UNAM and the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, and as a researcher at CINVESTAV and the USC Center on Public Diplomacy. He has worked in various capacities at five World Expos: Expo 1998 Lisbon, 2000 Hannover, 2010 Shanghai, 2012 Yeosu, and 2015 Milan.

His communication and research work has earned him three recognitions from the U.S. Federal Government, one from the National Institute for Transparency of Mexico (INAI), and one from the Center for Research on North America of UNAM.

Recently, César authored the First 100 Days Memo: U.S.-Mexico Policy Recommendations for the Biden Administration, under a Pacific Council Mexico Initiative fellowship.
