Ann E. Kronen works as a business consultant guiding small businesses on clarifying mission & development focus. Current clients include a technology hydrogen start-up based in Los Angeles, CA. Concurrently Ann serves as a director on the Board of Allies for Every Child based in West Los Angeles, a non-profit she has worked with for more than 25 years. That commitment is a reflection of Kronen’s strong belief that the seeds of global policies start locally with education, economic stability and basic child welfare.
Ms. Kronen previously held senior executive positions at Disney in the Consumer Products Division, at Philips Interactive Media working on consumer technology. Kronen began her tech career at Broderbund Software in the early generation of videogames and computer productivity products. In that role, Ann was responsible for all aspects of development on Broderbund’s acclaimed Carmen Sandiego series, The Print Shop, Living Books as well as numerous other best-selling product lines. In addition, Ms. Kronen has held board positions for Atari, Inc. based in New York, as well as small videogame companies including Heatwave Interactive based in Austin, TX.
Kronen has a B.A. from Vassar College. Her major was Political Science with a focus on International Politics. Ms. Kronen has remained intently interested in global politics, its impacts on business, culture and humanitarian issues. Ms. Kronen spent her early life in Venezuela and Mexico, grew up in the California public school system and has lived in New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, CA.
