Alex Su is an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California. Before becoming a federal prosecutor, Alex was an associate at LimNexus LLP, where he focused on complex cross-border disputes and government enforcement matters. His transnational practice also required foreign language and cultural proficiencies. Alex's other previous work experiences include clerking with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Major Crimes Division, San Francisco trial firm Minami Tamaki LLP, and the Veterans Legal Services Clinic at Yale Law School. As a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy, Alex has served as an NGO Observer to the Military Commissions proceedings in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, against the defendants accused of planning the September 11th terrorist attacks.

Alex earned his B.A. in International Relations from Pomona College and J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Prior to law school, Alex served as a Fulbright Fellow to the Republic of Korea. A proud Californian, Alex has experience playing water polo at various levels (NCAA, international); adores spicy food; and enjoys learning foreign languages. He aspires to one day speak Croatian and Hungarian; be a competent magician; and to earn a PADI certification.
