The Pacific Council is excited to announce the launch of our new Member Interest Group gatherings, officially named Council Chats! Based on the topics you’ve told us matter most—via the member interest poll we sent out earlier this summer—we will be hosting a series of informal conversations throughout the year. These gatherings will take place in various casual locations around Los Angeles and are designed to spark meaningful conversation and networking opportunities in an intimate environment.

Our first gathering will feature Duncan Wood, PhD, the Pacific Council’s new President and CEO, and Pacific Council’s Board Co-Chairs, Mr. Richard B. Goetz (Partner, O'Melveny & Myers LLP) and Mr. Rob W. Lovelace (Chair, Capital International, Inc, a division of Capital Group) around the topic of trade and investment as it pertains to the U.S. Election. This event differs from our usual format—there are no formal speakers. Instead, it’s an opportunity to network and connect with fellow members who share your interests. The dress code is business casual.
